About Quincy McLaughlin

Quincy is a school leader with a career spanning ​25 years and multiple roles. ​She started as a teacher and has served as a​n advisor, ​​dorm ​faculty, ​program director, dean, division head, and associate head prior to becoming ​an Interim Head of School​. ​

Quincy specializes in assisting leadership teams​, boards, and schools through transitional periods and planning for the future​, supporting optimal faculty cultures and alignment across divisions​, and helping schools meet and surpass the standard of care. All with an eye on the net tuition revenue demands in our increasingly complex marketplaces.


An expert witness on the standard of care in independent schools and management consultant, Quincy holds a BA in Literature from Sarah Lawrence College, a Master’s in Social Work from Smith College, and graduated from Dana Hall School.

In addition to presenting at NYSAIS, TABS, and NAIS conferences, Quincy has provided webinars and interviews for NBOA/NetAssests and United Educators.

Through strategic leadership, Quincy works to improve organizational processes and team performance with an emphasis on the importance of credibility and trustworthiness in school keeping, and creating consistent, equitable experiences for all constituents.
